CONTAC FS Foam-Safe Adhesive
CONTAC FS Foam-Safe Adhesive is a high performance versatile industrial strength contact adhesive designed specifically for adhering extruded / expanded styrene to a variety of substrates. Other applications include wood, plastic, veneers, fiberglass, glass, fabrics, foam, concrete, block, cork drainage mat, expansion joint and particle board. Water resistant and temperature resistant for a variety of applications.
For best results, ensure that the adhesives and substrates have been conditioned above 60°F. Make sure that the surfaces are dry and free from dirt, grease, oil or other contaminants. It is always good practice to test specific substrate bonding prior to job. Ensure that the valve on canister is fully open. Position gun 8 to 10 inches away from surface and spray CONTAC FS Foam-Safe Adhesive evenly across the surface without puddling. Spray adhesive on both surfaces to be adhered, horizontally for one and vertically for the other. Allow to dry 2 to 4 minutes until tacky and then join surfaces together applying firm pressure evenly across the bond surface. After use, engage the trigger lock on spray gun and store canister in dry area away from direct sunlight.
